Intangles Alert Logs

The Intangles Alert Log helps users track and manage vehicle alerts received from the Intangles Vehicle Tracking System. It automatically records alert details, links them with the right customer, and can send notifications through email or WhatsApp when something important happens (like a device getting disconnected).

Purpose

This feature is used to automatically collect alert data from Intangles and display it inside ERPNext. It helps the company quickly identify issues with vehicles and take action before they become serious problems.

Main Features

  • Automatically receives alerts from the Intangles system.
  • Creates alert logs in ERPNext for every issue reported.
  • Sends notifications to users by email or WhatsApp.
  • Links alerts to the correct customer using the vehicle plate number.
  • Automatically deletes old alerts (older than 90 days) to save space.

How It Works

1. Fetching Alerts

The system regularly connects to Intangles and fetches new alerts. Each alert is automatically saved inside ERPNext as a new record under Intangles Alert Log.

2. Linking Customer

The system automatically identifies which customer owns the vehicle using the vehicle plate number and links it to the alert.

3. Email Notifications

If email alerts are enabled, the system will send an email to the recipients listed in the alert settings. The email contains vehicle details, type of alert, and a short message asking to take necessary action.

4. WhatsApp Notifications

If WhatsApp alerts are enabled and Twilio Integration is installed, the system sends a WhatsApp message to the specified numbers. The message includes the customer name, vehicle number, and alert type.

5. Auto Deletion of Old Alerts

To keep the database clean, the system automatically removes alert records older than 90 days.

How to Use

  1. Go to Intangles Alert Log under the Erpnext Intangles Integration module.
  2. Open the list to view all vehicle alerts.
  3. Check details like Vehicle Plate, Alert Type, and Timestamp.
  4. Review notifications sent to customers or staff.
  5. Take the required action based on the alert information.
