AITP Authorisation
The AITP Authorisation document helps you manage and track All India Tourist Permits for vehicles in your fleet. It serves as a central repository for permit details, validity, and payment information, ensuring your fleet remains compliant with regulatory requirements.
1. How to Attach a Document to an AITP Authorisation
To attach the required bill or supporting file to an existing AITP Authorisation log:
- Locate and open the existing AITP Authorisation log in the system.
- Use the Attach Document field to upload the required file.
- Ensure all other details in the log are correct.
- Save the log after attaching the document.
2. Field Descriptions
The following table describes the fields in the AITP Authorisation form:

3. Business Rules and Validations
The system enforces the following rules to ensure data integrity:
- Unique Authorisation Number: The
Authorisation Nomust be unique for each record. The system will prevent you from saving a document if the number is already used. - Date Validation: The
Valid Fromdate cannot be after theEnd Date. The system will show an error message ("Permit Start date should be less than Permit End date") if this condition is not met.
4. User Permissions
Access to the AITP Authorisation document is controlled by user roles to ensure that only authorized personnel can manage permit data. The primary roles with access are:
- Fleet Manager / Fleet Master Manager: These roles typically have full access, including creating, viewing, editing, and deleting permit records.
- Fleet User / Driver / Host: These roles generally have read-only access to view permit details but cannot modify them.
Permissions can be customized by a System Manager via the Role Permissions Manager.
